My guide to the perfect salad

Wholesome, nutritious, and delicious: salad is the quintessential meal to nourish your body and tempt your taste buds..

Who says #salad has to be boring? πŸ₯—πŸ₯™πŸ₯’πŸ˜‹ there are so many lies out there about salad being a measly bowl of lettuce and celery; when in reality there is a magnificent variety of salads, bursting with vibrant colours and flavours- you can experiment and go crazy with it! personally i could never get bored of salad, because no one salad is the sameπŸ’š here are my 4 steps to a stunning and scrumptious salad!!


1) start off with a leaf. kale, spinach and lettuce are deeelish but you can experiment with others and combinations too!πŸ₯—

2)add a colour(or more!). add a brightly coloured veg or fruit such as beet, pepper, sweetcorn or carrot. aim for at least 5 colours, but it’s okay if you don’t get that.🌢πŸ₯•πŸ πŸŒ½πŸ…πŸ†
3)add a protein or a healthy fat! this is very important so that you get enough protein and your salad keeps you full, otherwise you’ll end up snacking all the time or even worse, weak and protein deficient. i recommend nuts, quorn, avocado or nut butter! THESE WILL NOT MAKE YOU FAT, they will make you strong and healthy, because they are good fats and your body needs them.πŸ₯œπŸŒ°πŸ₯‘

4) add a dressing! probably one of my favourite parts😝 i loovvvee tahini and lemon dressing, but you can use anything from sweet chilli dressing to beetroot and houmous dressing πŸ‘… this is the best part to go crazy with, as it will really add a gorgeous flavour to your dish.
