Flawless. I use the word. You use the word. Beyoncé uses the word. But what does it actually mean?

Sitting in youth group on Sunday evening, we all chatted and laughed and prayed together. We all know each others gross ins and outs after a week of camping together, yet we still love each other the same. We look around and see the good things, not flaws. So is everyone flawless?
A good friend of mine commented on how much I used the word flawless in my blog. He said it had been going round and round in his head… I’d said we are all flawless- but should I have said we are all flawed and that’s okay?
He made a brilliant comparison to ripped jeans; they’re ripped and therefore flawed, yet we pay even more for them! So are ripped jeans therefore flawless, or do we just appreciate and value the flaws?
In my opinion, we are all flawed- but we are made to be that way so we are flawlessly flawed if that makes sense. So what if your stomach isn’t completely flat- God put all your organs which keep you alive inside there! Your organs are probably working so your stomach is therefore flawless! Don’t understand the chemistry lesson? That’s maybe just not your forte and that’s okay. God didnt make us to never make mistakes. You’re still flawlessly flawed. You are still flawless.
Now, I don’t want to be accused of brainwashing so just to clarify- this is my opinion. It’s so great that we’re all different- let me know what you think about this matter!!
Have a FLAWLESS week!!
-Elena xoxo
