In the past, I have had many a fashion disaster, and I have struggled with feeling like I don’t fit in, feeling like I’m too boring, AND feeling guilty for pleasuring in “shallow”, materialistic things like clothes. That was before I came to the realisation that if something makes me happy, and isn’t harming anyone it can’t be all that bad after all. And who cares about fitting in if it makes me happy? Who cares about being basic if being basic bring me joy?
I believe that my love of clothes and colours are not shallow at all; in fact they are yet but another tool I can use to make the world a better place. Fashion brings people together, and brings people together and is immensely underrated. I am determined to change that and help fashion be celebrated in society; not in a consumerist manner, but in a way that unifies communities and brightens people’s days.
